6/17/2007Wii Debate

I don't know why, but I think I want one.

Before I go out and spend money on this cool looking thing, I need to make sure I really want it. I have to get something for Father's day or Julia (my wife see her blog here) will kill me.

Reasons to buy it

  1. It looks so pretty!
  2. Everyone else says it is great!
  3. You have to move to play the games!

Reasons not to buy it

  1. It's not available anywhere!!! My goodness it is impossible to find this thing in a store
  2. Since my daughter was born I haven't played a single computer game.
  3. All it does it play games, why not get something that is also a DVD player etc...

I'm sure both lists will grow. For now I am still undecided.

Update

I have now officially bought Wii. I bought it online and it should arrive by the end of the week. YAY!

Well, my love, you have an unlimited budget for this father's day to make up for any previous birthdays/Christmases where you didn't want anything.

So if you can get your hands on the wii, by all means go and get it! And if you want a flat-screen tv, and some other new gadgets along with it, please do Laughing

I was at Eaton Centre once and there were all these kids standing around the promotional WII game and they were plaing some type of Boxing Game and it looked so real, even the way they were punching they had to use their arms. It was fun to see.
